The music is the secret of Mathieu Malinski, a subject about which he dares not speak in its suburb where he hangs around with his friends. While a small burglary that he made with the latter leads him to the doors of the prison, Pierre Geitner, Director of the National Conservatory of Music gets him out in exchange for hours of general interest. But Pierre has another idea in mind. He hopes to transform Matt into a great pianist.
