SYNOPSIS
À Nairobi, à la fin des années 1990, Queen, mère célibataire rwandaise, se lie d’amitié avec Anna, journaliste irlandaise. Quand Queen tombe malade du sida, les deux femmes s’engagent pour l’accès aux traitements, face aux laboratoires et à un pouvoir corrompu. Un récit vibrant et généreux où une amitié inattendue devient une force de résistance.

SYNOPSIS
In Nairobi in the late 1990s, Queen, a Rwandan single mother, befriends Anna, an Irish journalist. When Queen falls ill with AIDS, the two women join the fight for access to treatment, taking on pharmaceutical companies and a corrupt government. A vibrant and generous story in which an unlikely friendship becomes a powerful force of resistance.
