Pristina, Kosovo, in the late 1990s. As war draws near and ethnic tensions escalate, 13-year-old Dua struggles with the upheavals of adolescence and to find her place in the world. Her encounter with the fearless Maki leads her towards a form of resistance that is both intimate and political. A sensitive and deeply moving coming-of-age story.
