Following the tragic death of his cameraman, for which he is partly responsible, journalist Alex Mazilu accepts the difficult task of covering the funeral. As he collects information for his in memoriam piece, he is confronted by the image of a man whom, it turns out, he barely knew at all. He is assisted in his research by the daughter of the deceased, a fifteen-year-old teenager, who must grieve for her father.
