The famous music critic Georg is suddenly fired from the Viennese newspaper for which he has been writing for decades. While keeping his dismissal a secret from his wife, whose mind is only occupied solely by getting pregnant, he begins to plot his revenge. He is assisted by an old school friend, and in return Georg helps him to repair a rundown rollercoaster. The minor acts of vandalism soon overcome into far more serious escapades.
