POMEGRANATE ORCHARD

Shami leads a modest but pleasant existence with his daughter-in-law, Sara, and his grandson, Jalal. Their main source of income is a pomegranate orchard, which the old man is finding increasingly difficult to tend. Hope is rekindled, however, with the reappearance of his son, Gabil, who left twelve years ago and has sent not a word since. But there could well be some meaning to this unexpected return.
