starring Emily Mortimer, Bill Nighy, Patricia Clarkson

In Hardborough, a small town in the north of England, life follows its peaceful course until the day when Florence Green decides to buy an abandoned building in order to open a bookshop. This does not please everyone, and in particular the local worthies. When the bookshop starts to sell Nabokov's steamy novel, Lolita, the community suddenly shakes off its torpor and displays unexpected ferocity.
