THE MINER

Alija was among the Bosnian immigrants who, thirty years ago, came to work in the coal mines of Slovenia. He leads a comfortable existence with his family, but the economy is bad and unemployment looms. His boss gives him and a young trainee the job of exploring an abandoned mine before it is sold. But this pit, sealed for so many years, holds a terrible secret.
