An elderly Inuit couple live in isolation in one of the most desolate and cold regions of the world. Nanouk hunts and fishes while Sedna tans and makes garments out of the pelts. But game is becoming increasingly rare while the ice melts earlier every year. Even though their world is teetering, they never complain and regret only one thing: the absence of their daughter, Aga, who went away work in a diamond mine a few years ago.
