Synopsis

Sofia, 9 November 2019. 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of Communism, three police cars patrol the sleeping streets, their job to ensure the safety of citizens in a city blighted by hardship, criminality and corruption. An ironic look at a disoriented society which has lost its ethical and moral compass.

Biographie

Stephan Komandarev

Born in 1966 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated from the New Bulgarian University. His feature debut, Dog's House, (2000) was presented in Berlinale's Forum. He then directed documentaries and four features: The World is Big (2008), The Judgment (selected in Arras in 2014), Taxi Sofia (2017) and Rounds (2020).
