Synopsis
Paris, 1894. In search of her missing mother, Fanni is deliberately admitted to a psychiatric institution. There she discovers a world of intrigue and arbitrary behaviour. Will she be able to escape from this place where, like her, every patient pretends not to be mad? Inspired by true stories, this is a powerful and disturbingly beautiful film.
