At the age of 12, Bo's life is turned completely upside down when her parents decide to divorce. Forced to go and live with her mother and brother in the outskirts of Amsterdam, the teenager proves irascible and resistant to any form of authority. She gets on well, however, with her neighbour Joy who suggests that she signs up at the kickboxing club she attends regularly. From that moment, taking part in this sport opens up new possibilities for her.
