A woman has disappeared. The day after a snowstorm, her car is found on a road leading to the plateau where a few isolated farms remain. While the gendarmes have no trail to follow, five people know that they are linked to this disappearance. Each has a secret, but no-one is in any doubt that this story started on another continent, far away from that mountain lashed by winter winds.
