Synopsis

1956. Algiers. 30-year-old Fernand Iveton is arrested at his factory, accused of planting a bomb there. On the other side of the city, now she has become the wife of a "traitor", Hélène's life is turned upside down. She refuses to leave Fernand to his fate. A story of love and commitment broken for reasons of State.

Biographie

Hélier Cisterne

Hélier Cisterne studied philosphy before making a number of shorts, including Le Paradis perdu (2008), nominated for the Caesar Award, and nine episodes of the series Le Bureau des légendes. He was awarded the Louis Delluc Prize in 2013 for his first feature film, Vandal. My Traitor, My Love is his second feature film.
