Synopsis
Denmark 1755. Captain Ludvig Kahlen seizes a piece of barren land to set up a colony in the King’s name and thereby achieve wealth and honour for himself. But the ruler of the area, the ruthless Frederik de Schinkel, does his utmost to drive him away. Tension and class wars of the 18th century in Nordic climes.
