July 1979. 11-year-old Albertine is spending the weekend in Brittany with her Bohemian actor parents to celebrate her granny's birthday. The whole family has gathered for the occasion. There are the uncles, aunts, cousins and abundant alcohol, singing and political argument, not to mention a satellite that is threatening to crash down on top of them.
