Hervé is a factory worker in Northern France who is to be relocated. He wants to use his redundancy payment to buy a boat and live out his passion for fishing. In Tunis, the young Foued views the planned factory as an opportunity to allow him to care for his sick mother and to get the girl he loves. In spite of the distance between them, the trajectories of the two men will coincide.
