Russia, February 1917. As the statue of Alexander III is removed from its pedestal, the fall of the Tsarist regime is celebrated in the streets of the capital, Petrograd. But nothing has changed: the war and famine persist. Returned from exile, the Bolshevik Lenin is nevertheless determined to further the revolution. His action will lead to the October Days.
